Local Tourist Information Centres and Shops

North Norfolk Information Centre

Louden Rd, Cromer NR27 9EF, UK – 01263 512497

It's very convenient to have the car parking, toilets and tourist info centre all located together. Toilets have excellent baby change and disabled facilities. Very convenient for the town, pier, fish and chips and ice-creams. Have always had excellent service in the tourist information building.

Got a great Norfolk guide from the lady behind the counter... For free! Live in Suffolk but great ideas to travel across the border.

Cromer Pier

Promenade, Cromer NR27 9HE, UK – 01263 512495

Nice wide basic pier. Excellent view of Cromer. Good for walks. Great place for the children to learn some crab fishing skills. Restaurant and pub with both indoor and outdoor seating available. Not too many seagulls annoying you for food. If this review is helpful please press like.

A nice traditional Pier in a nice seaside town. Me and kid took a walk round here while going around the Cromer and its a nice and tidy pier that's been well looked after. It has the normal attractions that go with a pier and is a must to visit. You can go crabbing but I'm sure that when you do hook a crab that it's a good idea to take them home. I seen a few kids taking them away in buckets and I doubt if these very small crabs would survive.

6 Overstrand Rd, Cromer NR27 0AJ, UK

Getting better a shame all the putting greens have gone but the yacht pond for the youngsters is still good Cafe fantastic

Smart and clean place. Great views out to sea.

Felbrigg Hall, Gardens and Estate

Felbrigg, Norwich NR11 8PR, UK – 01263 837444

The house was beautiful and had a homely atmosphere. The guides were interesting, knowledgeable and friendly. Many paintings had family resemblances which could be seen thanks to the greater than normal level of light for a National trust property. The walled garden was magnificent and perfect for any plant lover. All the windows appeared to have fantastic views of the surrounding countryside. It was a great afternoon out.

Great day out for kids young and old. My 5yo enjoyed hunting for the close up photos around the different rooms. The guides were knowledgeable and engaging with my children. The courtyard cafe was relaxing after a wander around, except for the wasps that seemed to take an instant delight in tormenting my eldest. All in all a great day out.
